January 2026 WAVE Meet and Cruise

Saturday, 24th January – 9:30am

New Year, New Me(et)

Getting this one in early, and what better way to start off your long weekend than a meetup & cruise and good food.

The meet will be starting at Hillary’s Boat Harbour, in the North-East side of the carpark from 9:30am.

From there, we will be leaving at 10:50am sharp to Moore River Brewing Co for a bite to eat – approximately 50 minutes drive away. (https://maps.app.goo.gl/MXE1rQXrqrMb9kdh7)

If you want to get out for a solid drive, don’t miss this one! Otherwise feel free to drop in and catch us at Hillary’s before we leave.

If you have a UHF CB Radio we recommend bringing it along to stay in touch with the convoy in case we get separated while on the road. We will let you know what channel to use on the day.

(If you have a drink at Moore River please be responsible and limit your intake if you intend to drive afterwards)

December 2025 Meet and Cruise

Saturday, 6th December – 10:30am

Join the Western Australia Volvo Enthusiasts Group for our final meet and cruise of 2025! Come along for a relaxed morning by the coast, check out an awesome lineup of Volvos old and new, talk shop, and enjoy the community.

We’ll kick things off with a meet and mingle at North Mole Road before heading out on a scenic cruise to a local café for lunch and socialising. Bring your Volvo, bring your passion, and bring the family — everyone is welcome!

July 2025 Meet and Cruise

Saturday the 26th of July @ Serpentine Dam – 11am

Heading back to Serpentine Dam, the plan is to cook up a bit of lunch on the on-site BBQ’s (weather permitting) and enjoy the surrounding roads.

With recent meets attracting an impressive number of Volvo’s, don’t miss out on a great day with the best Bricks in Perth.

April 2025 Meet and Cruise

The meet will commence at 10:30am on Sunday the 6th of April at the City of Fremantle Car Park 45 – South Beach.

This is just behind COAST in Fremantle, and there is usually a coffee van there. There is a sizeable carpark at the location so hopefully we can all park up together.

After a bit of a chat, and some coffee, feel free to join us for a cruise as we head north on a coastal run up to Hillarys (roughly an hour driving).

If you have any suggestions for stops along the way for food or photos, please post them in the event! Otherwise we can park up at Hillarys where there is a range of places to eat or grab a caffeine top-up.

August Meet and Cruise

Saturday August 26th, 10:15am – Fresh Coffee and Lunch bar Osbourne Park

Meet, Eat and hit the street for a cruise!

Meeting at Fresh Coffee & Lunchbar at 32 Hector St W, Osborne Park for 10am. After some brunch and a chat, we will head off towards Mundaring, regrouping in the Coles carpark before exploring some of the twists and turns through the hills!

June 2023 Meet and Cruise

10:30am – 25th of June 2023

Rev up your engines and get ready for an exciting day! We’ll gather from 10:30am at Dome, Deep Water Point, to kick off the event. Afterward, we’ll embark on a thrilling cruise through the scenic hills of Western Australia, ending in Bullsbrook.

This event is open to all car enthusiasts, regardless of the make of your vehicle. Join us for a day of camaraderie, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable memories.

Make sure your vehicle is fueled up and ready to go on June 25th. Feel free to invite friends and family who would enjoy this adventure.

April Classic Cars and Coffee Meet

On Sunday the 3rd of April the Perth Classic Cars and Coffee event is calling for as many Swedish cars to be in attendance. We are planning on meeting at the CPP J.H Abrahams Reserve parking lot before 7:30 am, to drive together into UWA for 8:00 am.

Should be a great event and we hope to see many Volvos there. If you are planning on bringing your Volvo in don’t forget to bring $10 for the entry fee, with proceeds supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

Cockburn Central Meet and Cruise

Saturday 8th of August at 5PM

Meeting at Cockburn Central Shopping Centre, grabbing a bite to eat at Nando’s, Grill’d or any of the available restaurants in Cockburn Gateway. Following this, join us for some spirited driving through Canning Dam Road, Brookton Highway and Mundaring Weir road.

The Kart Centre – WAVE Evenings

Join us on February 19th for an evening chasing lap times with $1 laps at The Kart Centre in Canningvale!

Some of the WAVE admins may have some prizes still for the fastest lap time of the night. Will post up when we have that sorted out.

Arrival at 7PM, to start for 7:30.

Saturday Night Xmas Meet

Saturday December 14 at 7PM, our final meet of 2019! A great way to wrap up a fantastic year for WAVE. This year has seen a lot of growth for our group and we look forward to continuing that in 2020!

After meeting up at Munchies in Fremantle for dinner, we will head out on a cruise for those who are interested.

All are welcome, and we hope to see you there.
