After a brief hiatus, we’re back with a dedicated event for the Volvo enthusiasts of Western Australia.
On Saturday the 11th of March at 6PM, Volvos of all types will be descending on the newly opened Varsity in Innaloo. Varsity is within the Event Cinemas complex that has ample parking which should give us plenty of space to hang out and chat about our Volvos with other enthusiasts.
We’re looking to meet in the red square indicated in the image below:
A cruise is also planned for those who are interested, departing from Innaloo and heading down the coast toward Fremantle. Further details such as stops will be discussed on the day.
Really looking forward to our first event of 2023 (albeit in March) and hope to see you all there.
The Joondalup Festival of Motoring is a family-friendly festival that will see the city streets of Joondalup pulsing with live music, delicious food, vehicle exhibitions and lots of motorsport action. The festival will embrace Joondalup’s streets and laneways, enabling local businesses to showcase their wares and be part of the action, connecting people, art, culture, food/beverages, and a century of motoring engineering.
On the Saturday between 12 and 5PM there will be a coffee and cars event fundraising for Wheels for Hope, a gold coin donation is required to exhibit your vehicle. It would be great to get as many Volvos on display together at this event. A pre-meet has been organised from 11am at the City of Stirling carpark, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling – departing for Joondalup at 11:30am sharp.
Unfortunately due to the level 2 public health measures, the organisers of Classic Cars and Coffee have had to cancel this event.
On Sunday the 6th of March the Perth Classic Cars and Coffee event is calling for as many Swedish cars to be in attendance. We are planning on meeting at the CPP J.H Abrahams Reserve parking lot before 7:45 am, to drive together into UWA for 8:00 am.
Should be a great event and we hope to see many Volvos there. If you are planning on bringing your Volvo in don’t forget to bring $10 for the entry fee, with proceeds supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
Meeting at Cockburn Central Shopping Centre, grabbing a bite to eat at Nando’s, Grill’d or any of the available restaurants in Cockburn Gateway. Following this, join us for some spirited driving through Canning Dam Road, Brookton Highway and Mundaring Weir road.
