On November 3rd we will be cruising from Jandakot up to Whiteman Park. Whiteman Park is home to the Motor Museum of Western Australia and even has one of Daniel Ricciardo’s F1 cars on display.
The group will be meeting in the Cockburn Station’s eastern carpark (off Knock Pl), just behind Hungry Jack’s at 11am to depart for 11:30, we plan on arriving in Whiteman Park at the Motor Museum around 12:15PM if you would like to meet there.

We’re planning on meeting in the Bunnings Subiaco car park and then walking toward Perth Kebab Station (or any where else if there is interest). We will also be going for a cruise afterwards.
As these casual night events are popular we will try to continue organising them regularly. We are also planning on running a larger event (during the day) in the near future.

We’re planning on meeting in the car park behind Greens & Co on Leederville Parade, from there we will visit one of the cafes or restaurants for something to eat and drink.

Iolo from the Volvo 1800-120 club has put the invitiation out to all WAVE members to attend the York Motor Show.
If you are interested in showing your car at the event, the plan is to meet at Auto One on Great Eastern Highway, Midland at 7:30AM and drive up together. Otherwise the event commences at 10AM and you are welcome to make your own way there.

Our next meet up will be at The Kart Centre in Canning Vale. The venue has been booked for 10am on Saturday April 21st.
We will be doing prizes for the fastest lap times of the day. This is subject to change, but currently our prize listing is as follows:

We will need to arrive at 9:45am so they can take payment, fill in our details and give us a safety brief and get us on the track for 10:10am. We will have the first few races to ourselves, then we will have some of our races in-between other people’s races, so about a 10 min break in between our races which should be fine.
We are going to structure it so we are broken into 3 groups of approx 5 people, each group will have 2x 20 lap races, so everyone gets some decent track time. After everyone has done their 2 races, the person with the fastest lap time from each group will then be chosen to do a final race to battle it out against each other.
Please note: The prizes on the day are distributed based on lap times.
And for pricing, we should hear back from them today in regards to what deal we can get and I will update everyone as soon as I know.

Meet at Cockburn Gateway outside of VetWest (opposite McDonalds) at 10:30, then at 11:00 cruise up to Alfred’s Kitchen in Guildford and meet the rest there for 11:45, and have a bit of lunch. Depending on the carpark, possibly a photo opportunity, and then a cruise to and through Kalamunda hills.
If anyone has any other ideas for places to eat and cruise we would love to hear them!
Lokie will be in attendance with stickers for those who are yet to get theirs.
